Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within thirty days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is thirty days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the last item of goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Deutsche Retail GmbH, Alte Papierfabrik 28, 40699 Erkrath, Germany, [email protected], Telephone: +49 211 561594 99, Fax: +49 2191 9349597) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax, or email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, although this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than thirty days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than thirty days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of thirty days has expired.

You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods. If you use the returns portal provided by us, a flat fee of €3.95 will be charged for the return shipment. This amount will be deducted from your refund. This does not apply to returns based on statutory warranty claims, in particular in cases of defective goods, transport damage, or incorrect deliveries.

We reserve the right to verify the reason for return stated in the returns portal after receipt and inspection of the goods. If the actual reason for return differs from the information provided, the applicable return shipping costs may be adjusted accordingly.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this diminished value is the result of handling the goods in a manner that was not necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
